This is information on the Omega Class colony worlds...what's known so far.

Omega II - Cragis, Omega-Cragis

creator: Jay Winger

Anthro Species: Golems
Human Settlements: N/A
Description: A barren, volcanic wasteland with multiple fault lines and volcanic peaks. Sulfurous air and perpetual storms.
Flora: None observed; possibly only lichen
Fauna: None observed
Points of Interest: The so-called 'Negacrag,' the tallest mountain in the colony world. It is volcanic, possesses hundreds of thousands of rock spires, and a "lava line" where the perpetual flow of hot magma is halted by the mountain's face.

Omega III - Yarom, Omega-Yarom

creator: WeB ViRuS

Anthro Species: Unknown
Human Settlements: N/A
Description: If one were to go there, they would be astounded at the amount of life that is present. Unfortunately, this class M colony world has remained unexplored by outsiders since its first two months of 'Net connection. The reasons for this are unknown, and what exactly was found or occured during the exploration period is a mystery as well. What is known is that thousands went into Omega III, and only five escaped, one of those being a member of the now extinct Red Flag team. The only point redily available to the public is that the air of Omega III is unbreathable except for in the cave systems, which even then is difficult to gasp through. Topside air of Omega III is much like Web air; if one would care to explore there, they'd need specialized suits and air filters, all expensive and provided only by the govornments special services.
That's the information you'd recieve if you were a civilian...
Officials, however, know of the exporations gone awry. The colony world was intended to be solely for mining its resources, survivors babbled about "purple clouds descending and consuming everything in their path". No one could make sense of this, until they sent in a team to recover survivors. The team came back with grim news: everything was gone. There was no trace left of teraforming, no bodies, nothing. They said it was as if someone had gone in and simply pressed the delete key on the whole existance of intruders. The system was totally shut down, and it was declared that no one was to set foot in Omega III without consent from the Earth's govornment.
Flora: Various. Tree, shrub, grass.
Fauna: There are many different creatures living in Omega III, some reaching gargantuan heights, though proven to be quite docile. The first expeditions of exploration and resource management were canceled because of the main population of fauna in Omega Yarom. This consists of small, insect-like, carniverous creatures that live on the surface. These were named Invicta Teseda, nicknamed Teseda's Bane, after the explorer first discovered them...and proceded to be chased down by Invictas by the hundreds of thousands until she found a cave system, where the creatures seemed to be repelled by the much cooler air and darkness. Invictas normally range from one tenth of an inch to half an inch and never travel in less than swarms of one thousand. These large groups are solely for protection and hunting purposes and could easily bring down the largest inhabitant of Omega III in under a minute. They consume every inch of their prey, even the bones and are said to even be cannibalistic, as well as consume carrion.
Points of Interest: Beneath Yarom, there is a series of caves which were fist explored by a team calling themselves Red Flag with the world-famous Beth Teseda as their team leader. After being tracked to have journeyed for more than one hundred miles down and in within the caves, the group's connection with their trackers at the mouth of the cave was lost, and they were believed dead. Soon after however, they emerged, badly battered, one of them missing a hand, half dead, and without their leader Beth. When they finally did manage to speak, according to log files, Miss Teseda had been severely injured in a massive cave-in, and soon after she died of internal bleeding. They say her last word to her team was "yarom." No one is sure exactly what she'd meant, but this is the reason for the system's name.
